at their places of work. It helps one understand the different motivating factors that increase
performance and build a strong relationship between the organization and its employees
(Nicholson & Audia, 2021). There are three primary levels of organizational behavior. The first
is the individual level, where organizational behavior is seen as a particular behavior. At this
level, the organization level is concerned with how individuals react to their policies and plans.
It is also concerned with the impact of psychological factors on the performance of employees.
The second is the group level of organizational behavior. At this level, organizational behavior is
concerned with how groups interact with each other, the type of work, and the tasks they are
performing. Organizational behavior is concerned with how social and psychological factors
affect performance at the group level. This is mainly because the organization comprises teams
and groups that work together in cooperation and coordination of each other. The third is the
organization level. At this level, organizational behavior applies behavioral science to understand
how organizational structure affects employees' effectiveness and performance.
Behavioral Science Disciplines that Inform Leadership's Understanding of Organizational
Behavior
The four behavioral science disciplines that inform the leader in understanding
organizational behavior are sociology, psychology, anthropology, and management. Psychology
