CaO-- 40.01 g (Ca) + 2*16.00 g (O) = 72.01 g/mol
C-- 12.01 g/mol

Using the molar ratio (coefficients from balanced chemical reaction)...

(1.182 g CaO) x (1 mol CaO/72.01 g CaO) x (3 mol C/1 mol CaO) x (12.01 g C/1 mol C) = 0.59 g C

Molecular weight:
SO2-- 32.07 g (S) + 2*16.00 g (O) = 64.07 g/mol
H2S-- 2*1.01 g (H) + 32.07 g (S) = 34.09 g/mol

(1.182 g SO2) x (1 mol SO2/64.07 g SO2) x (2 mol H2S/1 mol SO2) x (34.09 g H2S/1 mol H2S) = 1.26 g H2S
