how many joules of energy are required to warm 25.0 g of water from 12.0 c to 35.0c?

Dec 10th, 2014

Q = Mass * SpecificHeat * DeltaT

Specific Heat of water is 4.18 Joules per gram per degrees C.

Delta T in this case = 35 - 12 = 23 C

Mass = 25 g

=> Q  = 25 * 23 * 4.18 Joules

 Answer : 2403.5 Joules
