i am having trouble with exponents

the problem is (10^8)^2 x 10^0 

where do i start the problem is my question I guess

(10^8)^2 * 10^0, 10^0 = 1

(10^8)^2 = 10^8 * 10^8, add the exposeded 10^16 then squared would be 10^16 * 10^16 = 10^32 + 10^0 (1)

10^32 is the final answer.
