Description

For this activity, you should perform a breaching experiment. That is, violate a social norm in a public location where strangers can clearly see you doing it, and observe their reactions. Then, write a 1-2 page paper in which you:

1) Describe the setting and what norm you violated

2) Describe others' reactions

3) Describe how you felt violating the norm and witnessing others' reactions

Guidelines:

-You may NOT do anything that involves direct interaction with a stranger. That is, don’t
get strangers involved in what you’re doing (other than to observe you).
-Do NOT do anything highly disruptive or that might cause other people harm, distress, or embarrassment.
-Do NOT do anything unsafe, illegal, or expressly prohibited.

Feel free to be creative and have fun with this, but adhere to the restrictions above.
