Overall Organization Context
Azteco Market is a supermarket store. The store operates business in 12017 Civic Center,
Hawaiian Gardens of California (Super Market Post, 2016). It offers Mexican and Latin
American canned goods, fresh foods, traditional sweets & pastries, Hispanic cut meats &
poultry, and soft & hard drinks (Super Market Post, 2016). Currently, fifty employees are
working in the store.
Over the last two years Azteco Market has experienced severed human resources
management problem. Employee turnover rate has been increased, customer satisfaction level
has been decreased. Azteco Market is now considering to bring change in the workplace
environment and human resource management policy designed by which overall highest
satisfaction of the employees will be prioritized.
The store employee turnover rates of the Azteco Market were very high in 2015 and
2016. The store expands huge amount in every to trained-up and developed the store employees.
But, all expense went in vain due to high turnover of the skilled and efficient service employees.
Overall productivity of the employees. Some of the employees has claimed that high employee
turnover is attributed by high workplace dissatisfaction within the organization.
Azteco Market should take initiative to resolve the problem of high employee turnover
attributed by workplace dissatisfaction, and recover the customer satisfaction level. Initiative will
be undertaken to design appropriate workplace, and human resources management policy to
increase overall satisfaction level of the employees and decrease employee turnover. The top
level managers of the store should be associated with this change process as without their
support and cooperation change process cannot be implemented successfully. The owner and top
level manager of the store should understand the ongoing problem of employee dissatisfaction,
