Introduction

The world is a very dynamic place where sectors are interrelated. If one industry is
affected negatively or positively, other sectors will also be involved to touch human beings'
lives. For example, according to volatility, when the price of oil increases, the price of stocks in
the market decreases and vice versa. In such a context, it is clear that when the price of oil
increases, all the factors of production also increases—the price of commodities increases which
also increases labor cost and even land costs. Due to the law of demand and supply, investors
will sell a lot of stock in the market to purchase oil. When the supply increases, the price of
stocks decreases. In such a situation, some people gain, and some people lose. For instance,
during the 2007/2008 global financial crisis, the people in the mortgage business benefited while
those in the banking sector endured loss. In addition, the general population was affected to the
point the living standard of people changed negatively.
