find the zeros of the equation  2x^2+5x=-3

Dec 11th, 2014

2x^2+5x=-3   Put in standard form by adding the 3 to other side

2x^2 + 5x + 3 = 0   Now factor

(2x+3)(x+1) = 0

2x+3 = 0

2x = -3

x = -3/2

x+1 = 0

x = -1
