This comes with obvious benefits, but it also comes with extra challenges due to the increased potential for misunderstandings with cultural differences and language barriers. The person that knows how to use communication opportunities will have a strong advantage in their work and in their networking and relationships.

This assignment has two parts to it.

Part 1:

Locate and study social media pages of businesses that are making an effort to market their product globally. You can use any social media platform you choose. Examine what you believe the companies are doing well and what can be improved. Look for ways in which their communication are clear to a large number of people, breaking through language and cultural barriers. Also look for ways in which the pages could be improved due to the limitations and challenges of global communication.

After you have studied several pages that are seeking to reach a large number of people, choose three of them.

1A. Choose the page that you feel does the best job overall.

Describe why you feel like this social media page was the best one that you viewed. Take a screenshot of the page and upload it with your submission.

1B. Choose one that needs improvement.

Describe what you see that needs improvement in their effort to reach people globally. Take a screenshot of the page and upload it with your submission.

1C. Choose one that most closely represents the type of page that you might create in the future. If you have no interest or potential need for ever creating a social media page that is intended to reach the masses globally, then choose one you are interested in and like.

Now you will use what you have learned to create your own social media page with the intent of reaching the masses. You will not need to actually create a page on a social media platform. Creating a fake company or organization online could obviously cause problems. Instead, emulate the formatting of a social media page, and create it so that you can submit it to your instructor.

Take what you learned from Part 1 to create the best fake social media page you can on an imaginary company or organization of your choice. Your company or organization can be anything you want, just ensure it is class-appropriate. After studying these three pages that the companies own, the page that I feel does the best
job overall is the Coca-Cola Facebook page. The reason why I chose this page is that it is up to
date. When you open the Coca-Cola Facebook page, their first post was posted on April 13,
2021. The post aims to wish our Muslim brothers "Ramadan Kareem." The fact that Coca-Cola
is up to date would make any person visit it regularly and be influenced to buy their product.
Their communication is clear in this post and others. Recognizing our Muslim brothers is an

outstanding move on their page, and it caught my attention because the Company displayed that
it recognizes culture and traditions. I also saw that the Company replies to people's comments
even if not all. Generally, Coca-Cola Facebook would make an individual who doesn't take the
product to buy it because they are interactive, clear, and motivating.

On the other hand, PepsiCo's Facebook needs improvements. One of the areas that they
need to improve is being up to date. From the page, any person can see that the last update was
on February 12, 2019. That is a very long time ago, and thus the Company should ensure that
they recognize the presence of their esteemed customers. This is their greatest weakness. When
they improve on their updates, they can easily interact with their favorite customers when
visiting Facebook. In our technological world, people visit many pages daily, and when Pepsi
looks into this weakness, they are a higher probability of gaining new customers.
Communication is critical in promoting and advertising products, especially in global business.

McDonald's Facebook page. Firstly, the page is up to date to remind their clients that their
presence is recognized. Another thing is their communication is catchy and humorous in their
posts. For example, one of the posts indicates that "the question isn't if this is a word, the
question is why haven't you gotten one." This caption is accompanied by the picture of one of
their sweet buggers. Their page represents something I love, humor. Another thing is that they
recognize culture and traditions. Another post on the page was a statement to support the Asian
people against the hate they are facing in America. This would attract Asian customers because
they will be aware we respect our backgrounds and embrace diversity.

this using humor and rhetoric questions that could tempt the user to answer them.
The worst thing is taking the brand too seriously on social media. Therefore, I will make
my company page fun for any person to visit to check out their type's latest jewelry (Lu, 2019).

Looking at the discussed brands above, all of them use visuals. That is another thing I would
ensure that I incorporate in my social media page. Pepsi has partnered with big stars like Lionel
Messi and Mohammed Salah to market their brand. This increases brand loyalty to those people
who are loyal to these football stars.
Also, the page will be humane. This is seen in both Coca-Cola and Pepsi brands for
recognizing the backgrounds. Coca-Cola showed that they recognize the Muslim individuals by
wishing them a Ramadan Kareem and Pepsi, which stands with the Asian people. This human
nature is vital since it also increases brand awareness and attracts more customers from different
cultures.
