Given a scale factor of 1/2 , find the coordinates for the dilation of the triangle with vertices at (0, 0), (0, 2), and (4,0).
I am in 8th grade and really need help with dilations can anyone help me please?
To dilate a triangle, multiply each coordinate by 1/2.
1/2 x(0,0) = (0,0)
1/2 x(0,2) = (0,1)
1/2 x (4,0) = (2,0)
