1. Training helps an employee enhances his capabilities, which then he can use to produce a
better output helping company achieve its goals. Various advantages of training includes it
improves the skills of an employee, it prepares an employee for higher responsibilities, it
increases the productivity of the employee which in turn increases the productivity of the
firm, it also boosts the morale of the employee. Now should employee be responsible for his
own training, this has its own pros and cons. When an employee plans to train himself then
this falls under Laissez-Faire leadership or free-reign style. Under this it is the group
members who decide what should be done to accomplish the task. The manager’s role is
