Many of the maxims it presents are well known phrases even today. After reading Franklin’s “The Way to Wealth” in our textbook Becoming America please discuss the following question in at least 250 words and post to the appropriate Discussion thread. Be sure to post a response of at least 25 words to the postings of at least two of your classmates. Discuss Franklin’s comments on “debt” and “frugality” in “The Way to Wealth.” What is he trying to convey to the reader? Does it work for the people in the story who are hearing Father Abraham's speech? Can you think of a situation in your own life where questions of “debt” and “frugality” were tested?
