1 mole KClO3 produces 1 mole O2.  Molar mass of KClO3 is 122.5 and O2 is 32.

So 122.5 g of KClO3 produces 32 g of O2. Therefore 159.5 g of KClO3 will generate 159.3 x 32/122.5 g = 41.6 g of O2.

Now the yield is 83% = 0.83, so mass of O2 actually produced is= 41.6 x 0.83 = 35.53 g of O2

Answer: 35.53 g O2 actually produced.
