When x = 3 and y = 5, by how much does the value of 3x2 – 2y exceed the value of 2x2 – 3y ?

Dec 14th, 2014

When x=3,y=5,

(3x2 – 2y)-(2x2 – 3y)

=3x2-2x2-2y+3y

=x2+y

=3^2+5

=9+5

=14

So the value of 3x2 – 2y exceeds the value of 2x2 – 3y  by 14
