Some of the differences notable between the first and the second accounts of creation
include the creation of human beings. In the first account, the bible says that God created human
beings who share in His image. “God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he
created them male and female he created them" (Cody, 2019, Genesis 1:27)”. The use of plural
connotations identifies that during the creation, God created both a male and a female.
Nevertheless, the creation of man is emphasized in the second account of creation. In the
account, God created only one man, and ideas to create a helper came relatively late. There
seems that there was no plan for God to create more than a single person on earth, and only
through Adam’s sadness, did He plan to create Eve for companion (Cody, 2019). The creation
