0.41 mol He, 0.19 mol O2, and an unknown amount of N2.  The total pressure is 619 torr while the partial pressure is of He is 262 torr and of O2 is 119 torr.  How many moles of N2 are in the container?

For a container with a fixed volume and temperature, P1/P2=n1/n2

The partial pressure of N2=619-262-119=238 torr

Then n(N2)/n(He)=P(N2)/P(He)

        n(N2)/0.41=238/262

n(N2)=0.37 mol
