  1. Graph the quadrilateral JKLM with vertices J(-3, -3), K(1, -3), L(1, 4), and M(-3, 1). What is the perimeter of JKLM?
Dec 17th, 2014

Graphing the quadrilateral on a graph paper is easy. Locate the points J, K,L and M by their ordered pair.

Then connect the points and  measure the length of each side and add the lengths of four sides . You will have the perimeter.

If you do this correctly,  you will get JK= 4, KJ = 7, LM = 5 and MJ= 4

So the perimeter of JKLM is = 4 + 7 +5 +4 = 20

Answer: perimeter = 20
