Forecast
Greenpiece restaurant expects to attain a healthy financial status. Our projected sales
are $300,000 for year 1, $550,000 for year 2 and $1,200,000 for year 3. Our profit margin
is expected to be 20% of sales. Our projections are based on the assumption that we can
serve 100 customers per day at an average price of $10 per customer. Food costs and
labor will be our biggest expenses, followed by marketing expenses. If we open more
retail outlets in year 3, our sales revenue should go up but for now, we are focused on

With the increasing trends towards healthy fast food diets, the restaurant will have an
opportunity to add to its menu a variety of healthy food offerings as profitability and
time permits. As a restaurant, we would like to expand our product offerings by
introducing new varieties of fast food healthy options such as like turkey bacon and fat
free salads such as chilled melon chowder, fresh garden salad and low-fat Italian salad.
In addition, the company will also complement its fresh fruit juice offerings by adding
other healthy drinks such as organic coffees. Fat free desserts such as chewy brownies
with frozen yoghurt will also be provided in future.
With technological developments especially in mobile platforms, the restaurant will
have an opportunity to enhance its services especially in relation to ordering, delivery
and payment systems. The business plans to innovate a mobile application which will

affordable and those which do not interfere with their activities. This trend for increase

to an increase in demand for fast foods. However, a large percentage of these fast foods
are only junk, with high sugar and fat calories that cause severe health complications
such as obesity and heart diseases.

Greenpiece will offer health alternatives of fast foods consisting of an excellent menu
