Description
There's an Audi 2001 2.7T Allroad that the car dealership says that they'll sell it for
$3,000
cash. The catch is that they say there are repairs. Which include; exhaust manifold
replacement, power steering motor, and the driver's side door moto (window will go
down
but won't come back up). It also has about 125,000 miles on it? what would the cost be
to
repair all of this and would it be worth it to still buy this car?
Explanation & Answer
Based on the values of the other Audi 2001 2.7T Allroads with similar miles the price range is from $3500 to $4500, Exhaust Manifold would cost around $300 - $400 for the part alone, the power steering pump (motor) is around $150 - $200 for the part alone, and the window motor costs around $50 to $80 for the part alone, and the cost to do the repairs would depend on who does the work my guess should be around $500 to $1000 so your total would come to around about $4000 to $4680 with repairs, personally I would try shopping around for another car but the choice is yours.
