Introduction
Cardiomyocytes, also known as the myocardiocytes or cardiac myocytes, are referred to
as the muscle cells that form the heart muscles (cardiac muscles). The cardiomyocytes are
contractile myofilaments that majorly comprise the actin proteins and myosin. Nevertheless, in a
cell, the myosin makes up the important groups of the motor proteins producing muscular
contraction (Davis, 2021). Currently, the Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) and the
Embryonic Stem Cells (ESCs) have emerged to be promising sources of regenerative medicines
being used by scientists and doctors recently to treat people. Generally, the human pluripotent
stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hPSC-CMs) show the full potentiality of regenerating an
injured heart. However, there have been gaps pending explanations on the therapeutic effects
entangled with the human pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hPSC-CMs). In our
recent class lessons, we learned the various limitation...
