The importance of lawyers in American society and government
The role of lawyers in the in the American society and government is very vital. More
students continue to enroll in the field of law to work in the judiciary system. The roles the
lawyers provide to the American society are not merely instrumental. Most of the citizens have
their personal lawyers, private and public organization have lawyers who are legal experts. The
government, on the other hand, has lawyers who advise and represent it in related legal matters.
They are very competitive in legal matters and contribute so much in serving the people of
American society and the government.
Lawyers are paramount when it comes to counseling their clients on issues pertaining
counseling. The management of most companies is faced issues of picketing and demonstrations
by their employees. The lawyers will assess the situation after being approached by the clients.
They will collect the necessary evidence and advise customers on the way forward by either
seeking the injunction or pursue a different course (Burke, T. F. 2002). Most of the lawyers have
very active firms which offer specialized counseling to their customers. They can assess and
validate the need for taking an issue to the courts depending on the available evidence. Also, they
can counsel their clients on what to report and the stand that should be maintained throughout the
case.
