Grow culture to ferment samples
After two weeks of growing culture, harvest and lyophilize samples
Ground to a fine powder
Extract using 70% methanol
70 % methanol extraction method produces the highest yield of total phenolics, flavonoids, flavonols and rosmarinic acid; and consequently exhibited the strongest antioxidant activity (DPPH, TEAC and SOD-like activity).
