Coca-Cola is one of the leading organizations in the manufacturer of soft drinks in
different parts of the world. Its success may be attributed to the culture adopted by the
management in terms of manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of its products. A culture of
an organization guides the organization’s employees on the day to day operations. This enables
uniformity and production of goods and services of high quality. Coca-Cola adopted employee as
their main asset in their culture. A great emphasis on the welfare of employee encourages
teamwork within the workforce hence employees are empowered. This will enable information
exchange both vertical and horizontal which becomes beneficiary to the organization. When
employees are able to make the decision and work in an environment where their inputs are
appreciated, innovations will always be at the center of the organization because each employees
input is put into consideration (Taylor, 2000).
To strengthen any culture a proper mode of communication should be put in place. For
example, interpersonal, written, oral and non-verbal communication should be clearly stated and
