Show your calculations and information sources. • Problem 2 Deliverable 4 • There was a crash where the victim is claiming they didn't have enough time/distance to stop before running a stop sign. The stop sign is 100' feet west of a Railroad crossing. The crossing is 5' above the stop line. The width of the crossing is 20'. The road leading up to the crossing is 5% upslope. The posted speed limit is 55mph. Is the victim correct? Show your calculations and information sources. If your answer is NO what should you do to fix the situation?

A freeway is a divided highway with control of two or access lanes for exclusive flow of
traffic in each direction. The original intention of freeways was to service longer trips of
interurban or regional character. Traffic on these roads differs from that on rural roads or city
streets. This is given by the fact that the speed limits are higher than those on such roads. The
basic features of freeways are; direct access from and to adjacent property is prohibited. Also,
there are no stop controlled intersections. Similarly, access from and to the freeway is limited to
the location of ramps.
