Use the chain rule dy/dx = dy/du du/dx

Let u=cosx --> du/dx = -sinx

dy/dx = d[sin(u)]/dx
dy/dx = du/dx cos(u)
dy/dx = -sinx cos(u)
dy/dx = -sinx cos(cosx)
