Sam Harris became drawn to religion after one of his friends was killed in a bicycle
accident and he could not understand why, so he took upon himself to study about life after
death. He studied neuroscience, religion, and philosophy. He does not believe in the idea of
Omnipresent being who had to be worshiped and obeyed by the followers so that they could
achieve the promise of life after death.
Harris Criticisms to the Western Monotheisms
Harris believes that religions which are faith-based are normally focused on terrible ideas
