Question description

Curriculum and Theory

Fred Rogers, a prominent early childhood theorist quoted:
"Play is the highest level of child development....It gives....joy, freedom, contentment, inner and outer rest, peace with the world....The plays of childhood are the germinal leaves of all later life".

I need you to use it as the starting point for an analysis with his relationship to curriculum programs such as High Scope or Creative Curriculum. In a two- to three-page paper include the following:

1. Mr. Rogers quote above, and a summary of his philosophy

2. A well-researched summary of High Scope, Creative Curriculum, or another comprehensive early childhood curriculum about which you are familiar.

3. And an analysis of how your curriculum does or does not exemplify the tenets of your chosen theorist’s philosophy.

Please use proper APA format, provide a reference page (in addition to the two- to three-page minimum), with at least two reference sources.
