An original thesis statement making an argument about your piece of technology. Your paper/thesis could address ONLY one of the following questions:
How has/will this technology affect human relationships? Is it helping bring people together or is it pushing people apart? Is there a way in which this technology lessens the “quality” of interactions we have with one another?
U.S. residents have some of the highest levels of stress of any nation in the world. Is this piece of technology increasing or decreasing the level of happiness in our everyday lives?
How has/will this technology affect global politics or economics?
Does this technology widen or diminish race/class/gender inequalities? If so, in what ways? Who has or does not have access to this new technology?
How has this technology reduced or increased the amount of privacy we have over our personal information? What role should the government play in regulating information availability?
2) Evidence drawn from at least 5 sources to support your thesis.
Please use at least one piece of evidence from: Reading: The Happiness Project Book Gretchen (Links to an external site.), then use three other articles from a library research (3 academic journal articles from the ELAC databases)

This system needs to take into consideration health care costs and safety. You need your executive team on board to ensure successful implementation of this patient-centric health care technology information system. You plan to present a detailed report to your management team about the patient-centric approach, its benefits and challenges, and why your organization needs to embrace this approach.Instructions
You will write a 5–6 page research report in which you address the following:
Taking into consideration patient safety and health care costs, explain why a patient-centric approach is important in today’s health care system along with the challenges involved in implementation. Provide specific examples to justify your reasoning.
Analyze the benefits derived by health care organizations that practice a patient-centric approach, stating their unique characteristics. Provide at least two examples to support your ideas.
Identify two examples of a patient-centric health care practice and propose three ways patient-centric technology could increase patient access to quality health care.
Suggest three ways that HIMS can improve the patient experience within a health care organization or with a health care provider.
Predict three ways you would use patient-centric health care practice principles to improve quality care measures within your organization.

The study of healthy human nutrition includes topics related to socioeconomics and food security.
I am so pleased to have the course Graduate Student and experienced Registered Dietitian, Tim O'Neal present this video about supplemental nutrition and shopping on a budget. The talk includes a description of the project and instructions. Submit your written work to the Turn-It-In submission link by the due date listed above.
Written Project Instructions:
1) Click on the "Project A" link above. Watch the lecture video.
2) Research a government supplemental food program
3) Calculate your hypothetical eligibility for that program. (You do NOT have to actually apply for any program.) Calculate the food "allotment" you would receive from that program for your current household for one week.
4) Create a grocery budget in which you try to live on just that food allotment for one week.
5) Go to a grocery store and see what foods you can/ can't buy on that budget.
6) Write 1-2 pages on your findings, the program you chose. What foods were allowed? What did you learn? What did you have to give up for the week to stay in budget? How has this changed your view of supplemental nutrition programs?
