The Pre-9/11 Approach to Terrorism, science homework help
The Pre-9/11 Approach to Terrorism Prior to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, terrorism was treated primarily as a law enforcement problem and secondarily as a national security problem. Traditionally, law enforcement reacts to crimes after they happen. But this approach is the complete opposite of counterterrorism methods of prevention. In addition, a law enforcement approach treated terrorists as criminals. As a result, a warrant was required to issue arrests and all incriminating evidence was held by police for future court hearings. This directly impacted the amount of time it took to capture known and suspected terrorists. It also impacted the ability of national security agencies to review evidence for vital information regarding terrorist activities. To prepare for this Discussion: Review Chapter 3 in "The 9/11 Commission Report." Reflect on the role of different government agencies and branches in countering terrorism.Watch the web videos "Cheney's Secret Plan for Handling Detainees" and "Tough New Interrogation Techniques." Consider how the lack of policy prior to 9/11 impacted the approach to terrorism. With these thoughts in mind: Post by Day 4 an analysis and evaluation of the pre-9/11 approach to terrorism. Be sure to include an explanation of how this approach was reflected in national security structure, policy, and legislation. Be specific and use examples to illustrate your explanation. Be sure to support your postings and responses with specific references to the Learning Resources. One and a half page with at least three references.... California State University Protein Production and Lower Blood Viscosity Essay
For the ECG activity begin by working through the Electrical Activity of the Heart PowerPoint. Open the slides and click on the arrow to watch the video/animation in each slide. You may need to download the PowerPoint and the animations. I have had success with Chromebook and WIndows operating systems, but if you have a Mac or are using your phone, I don't know and can't guarantee the animations work. If the animations don't work, you may find them on Youtube as Interactive Physiology or you can read through your lecture textbook.
