Vaccination is a critical program that is championed by the health departments in various
states. The mandatory vaccination policy that advocates that all the residents especially children
get vaccinated against childhood diseases such as Influenza, Tuberculosis, Polio, Measles and
among others. Mandatory vaccination program aims at eradication of the infectious diseases,
promoting immunity among those with weakened immune system such as children and those
with chronic illness, and improving herd immunity to prevent the transmission of the infectious
diseases (Welborn, 2016). The policy is very hard and requires personal acceptance and requires
the government to balance between the individual liberty and the public health. Moreover, the
government needs to evaluate the cost-benefit analysis for the population-level vaccination
programs and create mass awareness to the public on the mandatory vaccination for the people
and make them see it as a positive externality that is significant to the individual life and those of
the public.
The model of mandatory vaccination requirement is the immunization of the minors on

highly prevalent in regions of low socio-economic status, implementing necessary evidence of
