Milk that contains  =   6 oz

Add chocolate      =  2 oz

Therefore total of chocolate and milk syrup  =  8 oz    ( 6 + 2 + 8)

Less    poured out = 2 oz

Therefore the remaining syrup  =  8 - 2

=  6 oz  of chocolate and milk syrup.
