Cosecant is the inverse of the sine function. This means that:

Cosec=1/sin.
If we plug this into the equation, we get:
1/sin=-1.0457
Now we solve for sin.
1. Multiply both sides by sin:
1=sin*-1.0457
2. Divide both sides by -1.0457:
sin=1/-1.0457
3. Simplify
sin=-0.9563
Now, to the find the angle whose sin is about -0.9563, we take the arcsin, or inverse sin
If we do this we get the measure of the angle as -72.99852269384695. So the answer is 73°.
Hope this helped, thanks!
