The topic for interview was divorce. Sometimes the parents decide to end the marriage
because of several factors, the children born in that marriage are likely to bear the consequences
of the divorce negatively. The family needs to understand this topic from the perspective of the
effects of divorce and single parenthood. The family should understand that marital dissolution
affects the success of the children, their mental health and future romantic relationships
(Donahey, 2018). Several cases have been witnessed where the children's mental health is
affected and have anxiety as well as depression as a result of marriage dissolution processes
(Demir-Dagdas et al., 2018). The children show reduced input and productivity in schools.
Further, the issue of marriage is supported by most religions. For instance, in
Christianity, marriage is supposed to be forever and people need to love each other until death.
The Muslims and the Hindus also appraise marriage and expect that the people who are joined by
the marriage covenant honor it until death. So, divorce is breaking the religious covenant
between the two people. Most of the communities are guided by religious and ethical beliefs in
making their decision. So, when one acts differently from religious values or norms they may be
