Abstract
Kellogg Inc. is a cereal company that created first-ever breakfast cereal that brought
impact into this arena. It is based in the United States but has a global presence. This company
was founded by W.K. Kellogg driven by his dedication to well-being that was solely anchored
by his belief in the importance of nutrition. Over the years, the company has been able to expand
its market base and put the public interest first. They have built relationships with small and
diverse entities such as the minority and the women. The company nurtures innovation and
enriching the careers of its employees.
The company’s business environment
The analysis carried out was focused on the governmental action and political change and
their influence on the organization. These actions and changes may have both positive and
negative impact on the entity’s financial operations and operations. The political systems and
government administrations have put in place regulations, laws and various policies that pose
great challenges to the business (Grant, 2016). An example of such laws includes an increase in
corporate taxes, currency inflation by the government to provide an economic boost and
unfavorable labor laws which demand an increase in employee wages and salaries. Taxes levied
on the corporates have tremendously increased hence significantly lowering the profits earned by
the company. Increased of employee salaries and wages have also reduced the company’s profits
because of increase in operation expenses.
On the other hand, currency inflation has resulted in profit increase in the short run.
However, inflation of currency in the long-term has brought about increased bank interest rates
thus causing a serious threat to the financial position of the company by making the borrowing of
loans less profitable. Government and political activities, for example, supporting for the

enthusiasm of counseling firms by diminishing the investment costs to be paid on credits,
arrangement of appropriations to counseling businesses and lawful security of the protected
innovation privileges of counseling companies has had a tremendous positive effect on the
association's budgetary circumstance and operations by benefiting various open doors. The
