Description
- Why THE CASE STUDY RESEARCH DESIGN METHOD appropriately aligns with your Problem, Purpose, and Research Question(s).
(The problem, purpose, and research questions are listed below)
(Problem Statement)
The problem is African Americans are under-represented among administrators in school leadership, resulting in higher turnover rates (Castro et al. 2018).
(Purpose Statement)
The purpose of this study was to examine the underrepresentation of African American male administrators in K-12 leadership and its impact on the retention of African American male educators
(Research Questions)

Qualitative Research
The design case technical is qualitative. The research plan entails interaction with black
educators to know how fear of the black male has prevented the black educators from assessing
the principalship pipeline in the k-12 leadership. Another factor that proves the research study is
a qualitative design is that the feedback from the black male educators depends on their
trustworthiness. To get the fears that prevent the black make educators from assessing the
principalship pipeline in the k-12 system, the researcher must trust the audience, and the
participants must trust the researcher. Purposeful sampling was used in getting the results in this
research design. They were getting to know the fears that prevent the black males' educators
from assessing the principalship pipeline required the researcher to engage in purposeful
sampling to get relevant feedback. The research design also used interview guides on field tests
making it a qualitative design. Asking about the black educator's fears was inform of interviews
done on the fields. The other proof that the research study was qualitative is that it is textual,
subjective, and data collection and analysis are done together (Kim, Sefcik, & Br...
