Experience section in resume

Computer Science
Tutor: None Selected Time limit: 1 Day

As a CS undergraduate seeking for summer intern, is it suitable to include my research work in university lab in the "experience" section of my resume?

Yes of course! Under experience, you can include anything from lab work to volunteer hours, computer skills to retail.  As long as it may be applied to the job that you are working at, it should be put under experience.

For example, if you worked at a clothing boutique, and then applied to a job at as a tutor, that really wouldn't benefit your "experience".

However, in your case, lab work consists of several different responsibilities, all of which can be applied to a specific field of study.

I hope this helped! Inbox me if you have any more questions :)
