The healthcare organization in mind is a long-term care facility for aged patients suffering from chronic diseases. A performance plan is a document that analysis and states the recurring performance issues and objectives that employees need to achieve to meet the goals of the long-term care facility (Dixon-Woods, 2019). Two issues affect this project. First is the prospect of resistance from the employees due to fear of losing their job (Dixon-Woods, 2019). The second issue is the lack of resources to implement the plan successfully. The positive aspect of the project is effective collaboration between the developer and the supervisor. Another positive is that the developer has completed a benchmark with local companies on developing and implementing the plan. However, the specific questions that disturb me in this project include; What is the difference between a performance plan and a scorecard? What happens if the strategies proposed by the improvement plan fail in promoting goods and services? Section I: Purpose and Quality Statement A performance improvement plan for a healthcare organization should be used to improve service delivery by clinicians and not as a means for a frustrated manager to start a disciplinary or termination process (Braithwaite, 2018). This project sees a performance improvement plan to identify inefficiency and help the workers improve. Therefore, this project's purpose and quality statement: The management needs to assess if the plan is consistent with the labor laws, not intimidating, and should be geared towards helping the clinicians improve service delivery. Section II: Status of Quality Tools and Standards A successful improvement plan depends on the feedback from the client. Consequently, marketing research is the quality tool and standard to be used by the 3 developer. Therefore, the status of the marketing survey is at the sampling stage of the targeted population.
