Question Description

I need support with this Business Law question so I can learn better.

If you enter the field of law enforcement, you may one day have to consider using deadly force on another person, either in self-defense or to save others. Is this something you think you could be morally and ethically capable of doing? As you participate in this discussion, you will consider the moral and ethical aspects of deadly force.

Please respond to all of the following prompts in the class discussion section of your online course: 

  • In what cases might it be acceptable to use deadly force? Give two examples and defend your choices.
  • What are the ethical ramifications of using deadly force?
  • If you headed a police squad, would you permit deadly force to be used and under what circumstances? Why or why not?
