Steelcase company is a United States furniture-based company that was founded in 1912
in Michigan, grand rapids. The Steelcase company produces architectural, office furniture, and
technological products used in the education and office environments, retail industries, and
health care units. This the largest company in producing office furniture in the world. The
company is located in global business centers in Malaysia, Romania, and Mexico, with
approximately eighty locations and eleven thousand employees worldwide (Talbert & Mor-Avi,
2019). On the other, a hypothesis refers to an assumption or an idea proposed by the researcher
for the argument to test it during the actual research. The hypothesis can be true or false and is
tested before the real study or research.
Additionally, there will be an increased demand for the products and services provided by
Steelcase company. This is because research clearly shows the strategies and plans Steelcase
company has implemented to ensure it attracts more customers in competitive markets. Steelcase
Company uses modern technology, which provides the management and systems and keeps
informed and updated. The leadership in Steelcase Company is of a well-trained and experienced
expert in the field of space and furniture; therefore, they are competent in their work. The
company has spread its services to many places globally, where they keep more customers
informed of their products ("Global procurement and supply risk management processes at
Steelcase Inc," 2015). They are also able to deliver services and products to their customer in
their proximity areas. Finally, the Steelcase company produces goods of high quality and also
provides quality services; therefore, the company continues to attract more customers. Hence
based on research, this clearly shows an increased demand for Steelcase products and services.

2.) Construct a process improvement model that optimizes operational yield at Steelcase
A process improvement refers to a repetitive task or activity of identifying, analyzing,
and improving the already existing business process in the organization to optimize yields and
meet the set standards of quality of products and services. The organization looks for better ways
to enhance the evolution of products workflows and services to be optimal and efficient over
time. The process of improvement occurs in a systematic approach that follows a specific
methodology considering different approaches (Edwards, 2016). The management, therefore,
should seek the initiative to select well-qualified personnel who will construct the best
improvement model. This is because the yields or results of every strategy will depend on the
model used and how it was implemented.
To enhance a process improvement model entails commitments of the management
personnel and other stakeholders to their work. This where workers work under less supervision
and focus on a certain set goal at work. The workers work together as one body without fighting
each other. Under this step in the process improvement model, the Steelcase company set shared
goals for the company and promote compelled awareness. This will help promote unity in the
company, being aware that every individual idea is used in the company's growth. Also, the
