affect them later on in life.

Nutrition, Psychology, and Medication and the Immune System

Some of the factors that affect older adults’ immune systems include nutrition,
psychological issues, and medications (Davison et al., 2016).

Psychological Factors like stress, depression, and hopelessness have been observed to
adversely affect the body’s immune system and lead to some illnesses and complications
(Davison et al., 2016).

Medical drugs and complementary and alternative medications are intended to treat
illnesses or control medical conditions.
