8r - r/6 > 1/6 - 8

Multiply both sides with 6

6*(8r - r/6) >6* (1/6 - 8)

48r-r >1-48

47r>-47

Divide both sides by 47

47r/47>-47/47

r>-1

So the value of r is the region on the right side of point -1 on an indefinite line.
