William Carlos is one of the most recognized persons in history. Not only was he an
experimenter but also a revolutionary man, an innovator and most importantly an America’s best
poet. Compared to other artists who existed in his times Williams led an exemplarily conventional

in New York and a Puerto Rican mom who had an incredible artistic talent. Growing up, he spoke
English, French as well as Spanish.

mother was a painter. His father not only invited his favorite author Shakespeare home but also

languages, and it is here that he realized his great love and interest in reading books. He wrote his
first poem then, and that left him joyful and added on to his zeal for poetry. His parental influence
