ENG 315 SU Professional Communications Letter
Write a Block Business Letter from the perspective of company management. It must provide bad news to the recipient and follow the guidelines outlined in Chapter 7: Delivering Bad-News Messages in BCOM9 (pages 116-136).
The message should take the block business letter form from the example provided on page 123 of the eBook; however, you will submit your assignment to the online course shell.
The block business letter must adhere to the following requirements:
Content:
Address the communication issue from the scenario.
Provide bad news from the company to the recipient.
Concentrate on the facts of the situation and use either the inductive or deductive approach.
Assume your recipient has previously requested a review of the situation via email, letter, or personal meeting with management.
Format:
Include the proper introductory elements (sender’s address, date, recipient’s address). You may create any details necessary in the introductory elements to complete the assignment.
Provide an appropriate and professional greeting / salutation.
Single space paragraphs and double space between paragraphs.
Limit the letter to one page in length.
#1 Professional Scenarios
.
1.James shows up to work approximately five minutes late this morning,
walks silently (but quickly) down the hallway and begins to punch in at
the time clock located by the front desk.
Sarah, the front desk manager, says, "Good morning, James," but James ignores her, punches in, and heads into the shop to his workplace. Sarah rolls her eyes, picks up the phone, and dials the on-duty manager to alert her that James just arrived and should be reaching his desk any moment.
2. Saban is a top performing industrial equipment salesperson for D2D.
After three years of working with his best client, he receives a text
message from Pat (his direct manager) assigning him to a completely
different account.
Pat has received complaints that Saban gets all of the good clients and is not a “team player.”
Saban responds to the message and asks for a meeting with Pat to discuss this change. Pat responds with another text message that reads: “Decision final. Everyone needs to get a chance to work with the best accounts so it is fair. Come by the office and pick up your new files.”
Moments later, Saban sends a text message to Karen, his regional manager and Pat’s boss. It simply reads, “We need to talk.”

Breach of Contract, Business Law Assignment help
Breach of ContractJohnny, a neighbor who is not a merchant under the Uniform Commercial Code, offers to buy a car from Mark for $30,000. Mark asks Johnny for some time to think about it. Johnny says sure. He writes on a piece of paper that he will keep the offer open for two weeks. A week later Johnny sees another car he would rather buy. He purchases that, and then he tells Mark that he is revoking his offer. Two days after that Mark said: “I’m sorry Johnny you made an offer in writing to buy my car. I’m going to hold you to that.” Johnny replied: “Sorry I cannot do that. But I will promise to pay you $10,000 for the help you gave me last year around the house.” Somewhat mollified Mark accepts. A week later and Johnny decided to renege on that promise as well. Fed up, Mark sued Johnny for breach of contract on both the promise to buy the car and the promise for the $10,000.Discuss whether the elements of a contract are satisfied in this case. The requirements below must be met for your paper to be accepted and graded: Write between 500 – 750 words (approximately 2 – 3 pages) using Microsoft Word.Attempt APA style, see example below.Use font size 12 and 1” margins.Include cover page and reference page.At least 60% of your paper must be original content/writing.No more than 40% of your content/information may come from references.Use at least two references from outside the course material, preferably from EBSCOhost. Text book, lectures, and other materials in the course may be used, but are not counted toward the two reference requirement.Reference material (data, dates, graphs, quotes, paraphrased words, values, etc.) must be identified in the paper and listed on a reference page.Reference material (data, dates, graphs, quotes, paraphrased words, values, etc.) must come from sources such as, scholarly journals found in EBSCOhost, online newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal, government websites, etc. Sources such as Wikis, Yahoo Answers, eHow, etc. are not acceptable.

I'm working on a management report and need an explanation to help me study.Team HCreate
a report that summarizes and discusses your performance in
the six rounds of play in the ERPSim Extended Manufacturing Game on
April 29 and May 4. The report should be structured to include an
introduction, a body, and a conclusion. Like an executive summary, the
report should act as a concise version of a larger report. The
introduction should be a generally summary of what’s to come. What
place did you come in? Ok, now entice the reader to want to keep
reading, by promising to explain why, and by using what? The
body of your report should focus on the key performance indicators (KPI)
provided in the end-of-round financial statements (e.g., Total Sales,
Gross Margin, Net Margin, Round Productivity). Use as few, or as many,
as you feel you can explain your performance. Each KPI should contain at least
one visualization. The visualizations are an effective way to
communicate a large amount of data (especially numeric), but you still
need to explain why it’s relevant. The conclusion should wrap up
the story and offer suggestions on how you would do things differently
to improve your performance. Most of you have played this
game enough times that this report should write itself. Look at the KPI.
What was your goal? Where did you end up? Why your actual performance
deviated from your expectations? How did the teams ahead of you do?
Create visualizations to support your explanations or arguments. Do that
for each of the KPI that is relevant.Requirements:
