People can always remain up to date on the latest events by using print media, radios, and
television. Consumers are highly reliant on digital channels to know the current events, thanks to
the rapid increase of internet access and the expanding popularity of social media channels. The
overreliance on social media platforms and the internet has resulted in a high amount of fake
news shared by a number of people. Fake news is currently one of the most contentious
sociopolitical issues. Crimes are becoming more hazardous than traditional forms of crime as a
result of the development of various social media ideas. Originally, technical access to the
internet aided in the dissemination of knowledge relevant to research and innovation. Work in
the modern era is heavily reliant on online communication via the internet and social media.
Instead of waiting for societal disturbance and discord to arise, individual states must set apart
some regulations that regulate and restrict the dissemination of fake news.
