Introduction
A social responsibility plan for a business helps a lot. Most importantly it is used to
benchmark the corporation’s status currently and also its impact on the society. From this, one
can easily know how and where to improve. Equally a good social responsibility plan will enable
a business show its stakeholders that it’s taking part in community stewardship. Every business
in operation is supposed to have a corporate social responsibility plan. This will improve their
relations with the outside community which will always support them in case of any problem. A
corporate social responsibility plan is an initiative that involves all the activities that a business
does to benefit the outside society (Cramer, 2005). The company does not gain financially from
such initiatives but gains in terms of relations in the community. It helps a great deal to avoid
creation of a bad image outside. A corporate social responsibility plan will benefit the company
to grow and have good relations with the outside people.
Implementation of a responsibility plan
To have a good responsibility plan, there are a number of things that the business will
have to look at. The first and most important thing to note in preparing a good CSR plan is the
vision. The business has to develop a vision which will clearly outline who they are and what
they want to achieve for the community. In most cases, many people never consider this as
important to a business. In reality, a vision will help to know which part of the community to
take part and assist.
A good social responsibility plan will always stick to their mission and vision. Failure to
look at the two will lead to the development of a CSR that is irrelevant of the organization'...
