I thought it would be interesting to look at the impacts that breast
milk has on children later on in growth and development. In an
article written by Horwood, Darlow, and Mogridge titled Breast milk
feeding and cognitive ability at 7–8 years, they found that
children who were breastfed scored higher on both verbal and
performance IQ tests than their same-aged peers who were not
breastfed. For this study, scientists looked at 413 very low birth
weight infants who were born in New Zealand hospitals. Upon
