range of different ways of reasoning and thinking, acting and feeling among human
beings. People differ significantly regarding behavioral and intellectual traits, for
example, some people are extroverted and outgoing while others are introverted and
reserved (Ashton & Michael, 2013). The personality of an individual is reflected in
his/her ability to think, feel and act consistently over an extended period, for example, a
person who has tended to be introverted till now will probably still tend to be introverted
tomorrow. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they are compelled to be quiet and
reserved at all times, in every possible situation. Rather, they are inclined to be quiet and
reserved more often than not as it depends on the situation he/she faces. The personality
style of a person is the organizing principle that one depicts over time. It represents the
orderly arrangement of all the people’s attributes, thoughts, feelings, attitudes, behaviors,
and coping mechanisms. It is the distinctive pattern .of a person's psychological
functioning.
