Summary:
In the article Laleh Khalili points out how internet has boosted the nationalism among the
Palestinians in Lebanon. It was believed that access to World Wide Web could make people move
away from their roots. However the reality couldn’t be further. Cyber culture hasn’t alienated the
Palestinians from each other or from their sense of identity. Internet boosts their long distance
nationalism.
