    • Brief Description

Their research assignment should verify this is a problem –and describe the scope of the problem. After the problem is selected and researched, the students receive feedback evaluating how effective they were at creating a compelling analysis/discussion of the problem. Students conclude the assignment by providing a solution to this problem through the creation of a new business. business districts. These congestions limit the movement of people across towns and offices
within those towns. In many cases, employees turn up for work late in the morning hours when
traffic is at its peak, with nearly everyone headed towards town rushing to beat the traffic they
help create. City planners and authorities have developed various strategies to decongest major
cities, including introducing vehicle bans in the central business districts for some days of the
week (Rajé et al., 2018). Unfortunately, these efforts have had minimal impacts on decongesting
cities. Moreover, the environmental impact of these vehicles congestions across major financial
hubs and cities remains high, with greenhouse gas emissions from these regions continuously on
the rise. Therefore, it calls for new ingenious and environmentally friendly solutions to this
public transport menace across cities without affecting individuals' lives negatively.
Problem Statement
When the novel coronavirus struck the United States early in 2020, satellite images
showed a significant difference between the cities' atmospheric composition before the cities
went into lockdown mode and during the lockdown, when vehicle movement into towns was
limited (see appendix 1 below). These images show how reducing petroleum-powered vehicular
transport could also help to reduce environmental pollution on a larger scale (Plumer &
Popovich, 2020).
Recent studies have also shown a significant positive correlation between vehicular
emissions, especially in congest...
