Introduction
Encryption is a technique that is used to secure crucial data in the organization so that it
does not become vulnerable to such things as hacking and malware attacks (Denis et al., 2021).
The technique relies on transforming data into a unique code that can only be accessed by the use
of a special key for encrypting and decrypting the data and thus this means that unauthorized
individuals would have been prevented from having access to the data. “Data encryption can
